Your transaction will be refunded in these cases:
1) Your payment failed since you sent us the coins after the time to do so has passed;
2) Your payment was declined from our end after you have sent us the coins;
3) Your payment failed since you sent less cryptocurrency than you were supposed to;
4) You sent us the wrong cryptocurrency type;
5) The merchant has asked us to issue a refund for your payment with cryptocurrency.
Additionally, a partial refund will be issued if your payment is approved, but you have sent us too much cryptocurrency. You will be refunded the amount that was sent "on top" of the actual amount you were supposed to. This can be considered as us giving you "change" in cryptocurrency.
It is important to highlight that even though you send cryptocurrency to pay for your purchase, the actual payment amount is set in fiat. Thus, depending on the exchange rate of a particular coin, you might be refunded less or more coins than you sent when you were paying for the goods you purchased. Nevertheless, the amount that should be refunded will be equivalent to the amount you paid in fiat.
Additionally, as with all cryptocurrency transfers, there are network fees. A network fee will be applied to the amount you will be refunded, which might result in you receiving less cryptocurrency.
For example, the transaction will fail if you were supposed to pay 100 USDT for your purchase but sent us 99 USDT. A refund of 99 USDT will be issued to the wallet address that you will provide. However, there will be a network fee to send those 99 USDT to your wallet. Let’s say the network fee is 0.50 USDT at that particular moment. In this case, you will receive not 99 USDT, but 99 – 0.5 = 98.5 USDT.
To be clear, this is not an amount we will take for ourselves but a network fee the blockchain applies to process this transaction, and we have no control over it.
